Species Description:

Collomia rawsoniana, commonly known as Rawson's flaming trumpet, is a perennial rhizomatous herb in the Polemoniaceae that is found only in California. It occurs within Lower montane coniferous forest, Meadows and seeps, and Riparian forest, growing at elevations from 780 to 2200 meters. Collomia rawsoniana is ranked 1B.2, Plants Rare, Threatened or Endangered in California and Elsewhere; Moderately threatened in California.
