Species Description:

Arctostaphylos malloryi, commonly known as Mallory's manzanita, is a perennial evergreen shrub in the Ericaceae that is found only in California. It occurs within Chaparral, and Lower montane coniferous forest, growing at elevations from 765 to 1280 meters. Arctostaphylos malloryi is ranked 4.3, Plants of Limited Distribution, A Watch List; Not very threatened in California.
