Hesperolinon tehamense, commonly known as Tehama County western flax, is a annual herb in the Linaceae that is found only in California. It occurs within Chaparral, and Cismontane woodland, growing at elevations from 100 to 1250 meters. Hesperolinon tehamense is ranked 1B.3, Plants Rare, Threatened or Endangered in California and Elsewhere; Not very threatened in California.

Taxonomy:

Some plants from ALA, LAK, NAP, and STA cos. were previously treated as H. serpentinum ined.; plants from the inner north coast ranges of LAK and NAP cos. are now treated as H. sharsmithiae. Plants from ALA Co. are possibly H. clevelandii; needs further study. Similar to H. sharsmithiae.
