Viola tomentosa, commonly known as felt-leaved violet, is a perennial herb in the Violaceae that is found only in California. It occurs within Lower montane coniferous forest, Subalpine coniferous forest, and Upper montane coniferous forest, growing at elevations from 1435 to 2000 meters.
