Species Description:

Eleocharis torticulmis, commonly known as California twisted spikerush, is a perennial rhizomatous herb in the Cyperaceae that is found only in California. It occurs within Bogs and fens, Lower montane coniferous forest, and Meadows and seeps, growing at elevations from 1005 to 1175 meters. Eleocharis torticulmis is ranked 1B.3, Plants Rare, Threatened or Endangered in California and Elsewhere; Not very threatened in California.
