Species Description:

Sphaeralcea munroana, commonly known as Munro's desert mallow, is a perennial herb in the Malvaceae that is found in California and elsewhere. It occurs within Great Basin scrub, growing at elevations from 2000 to 2000 meters. Sphaeralcea munroana is ranked 2B.2, Plants Rare, Threatened, or Endangered in California, But More Common Elsewhere; Moderately threatened in California.
