Taxon Summary:

Teucrium glandulosum, commonly known as desert germander, is a perennial stoloniferous herb in the Lamiaceae that is found in California and elsewhere. It occurs within Sonoran desert scrub, growing at elevations from 400 to 790 meters. Teucrium glandulosum is ranked 2B.3, Plants Rare, Threatened, or Endangered in California, But More Common Elsewhere; Not very threatened in California.

Known in CA only from the Whipple Mtns. Need field surveys. See Proceedings of the California Academy of Sciences 2:23 (1860) for original description, and Brittonia 5(5):506-507 (1946) for taxonomic treatment.
