Species Description:
Thermopsis macrophylla, commonly known as Santa Ynez false lupine, is a perennial rhizomatous herb in the Fabaceae that is found only in California. It occurs within Chaparral (disturbed areas, granitic, and sandy), growing at elevations from 425 to 1400 meters. Thermopsis macrophylla is ranked 1B.3, Plants Rare, Threatened or Endangered in California and Elsewhere; Not very threatened in California.|
