Species Description:
Androstephium breviflorum, commonly known as small-flowered androstephium, is a perennial bulbiferous herb in the Themidaceae that is found in California and elsewhere. It occurs within Desert dunes, and Mojavean desert scrub (bajadas), growing at elevations from 220 to 800 meters. Androstephium breviflorum is ranked 2B.2, Plants Rare, Threatened, or Endangered in California, But More Common Elsewhere; Moderately threatened in California.
