Species Description:

Rubus nivalis, commonly known as snow dwarf bramble, is a perennial evergreen vine in the Rosaceae that is found in California and elsewhere. It occurs within North Coast coniferous forest, growing at elevations from 1085 to 1350 meters. Rubus nivalis is ranked 2B.3, Plants Rare, Threatened, or Endangered in California, But More Common Elsewhere; Not very threatened in California.
