Species Description:

Eryngium spinosepalum, commonly known as spiny-sepaled button-celery, is a annual/perennial herb in the Apiaceae that is found only in California. It occurs within Valley and foothill grassland, and Vernal pools, growing at elevations from 80 to 975 meters. Eryngium spinosepalum is ranked 1B.2, Plants Rare, Threatened or Endangered in California and Elsewhere; Moderately threatened in California.
