Species Description:

Limnanthes bakeri, commonly known as Baker's meadowfoam, is a annual herb in the Limnanthaceae that is found only in California. It occurs within Marshes and swamps (freshwater), Meadows and seeps, Valley and foothill grassland (vernally mesic), and Vernal pools, growing at elevations from 175 to 910 meters. Limnanthes bakeri is ranked 1B.1, Plants Rare, Threatened or Endangered in California and Elsewhere; Seriously threatened in California.
