Species Description:
Paronychia ahartii, commonly known as Ahart's paronychia, is a annual herb in the Caryophyllaceae that is found only in California. It occurs within Cismontane woodland, Valley and foothill grassland, and Vernal pools, growing at elevations from 30 to 510 meters. Paronychia ahartii is ranked 1B.1, Plants Rare, Threatened or Endangered in California and Elsewhere; Seriously threatened in California.
