Eriogonum pyrolifolium var. pyrolifolium, commonly known as pyrola-leaved buckwheat, is a perennial herb in the Polygonaceae that is found in California and elsewhere. It occurs within Alpine boulder and rock field (pumice, and sandy or gravelly), growing at elevations from 1675 to 3200 meters. Eriogonum pyrolifolium var. pyrolifolium is ranked 2B.3, Plants Rare, Threatened, or Endangered in California, But More Common Elsewhere; Not very threatened in California.
