Species Description:
Tetracoccus ilicifolius, commonly known as holly-leaved tetracoccus, is a perennial deciduous shrub in the Picrodendraceae that is found only in California. It occurs within Mojavean desert scrub (carbonate, and rocky), growing at elevations from 600 to 1830 meters. Tetracoccus ilicifolius is ranked 1B.3, Plants Rare, Threatened or Endangered in California and Elsewhere; Not very threatened in California.
