Notes

Rediscovered in 1993 by P. Conners near Occidental; only one plant found, and subsequent surveys in 1994-1995 unsuccessful. Another occurrence (502C) discovered in 1996. Historical habitat lost to urbanization and agriculture. See Flora Franciscana, p. 27 (1891) by E. Greene for original description, and Fremontia 22(2):3-7 (1994) for account of rediscovery.
