Species Description:
Crossosoma californicum, commonly known as Catalina crossosoma, is a perennial deciduous shrub in the Crossosomataceae that is found in California and elsewhere. It occurs within Chaparral, and Coastal scrub, growing at elevations from 0 to 500 meters. Crossosoma californicum is ranked 1B.2, Plants Rare, Threatened or Endangered in California and Elsewhere; Moderately threatened in California.
