Population and habitat severely reduced on Nipomo Mesa, and remaining occurrences seriously threatened by development. Possibly threatened by agriculture, development, disking, improper burning regime, mowing, nonnative plants, road and trail construction or maintenance, and wood cutting or brush clearing. Improperly sourced restoration plantings are a potential threat to the genetic integrity of A. nipumu. |
