Species Description:
Eriophyllum lanatum var. obovatum, commonly known as southern Sierra woolly sunflower, is a perennial herb in the Asteraceae that is found only in California. It occurs within Lower montane coniferous forest, and Upper montane coniferous forest, growing at elevations from 1114 to 2500 meters.
