Penstemon filiformis, commonly known as thread-leaved beardtongue, is a perennial herb in the Plantaginaceae that is found only in California. It occurs within Cismontane woodland, and Lower montane coniferous forest, growing at elevations from 450 to 1875 meters. Penstemon filiformis is ranked 4.2, Plants of Limited Distribution, A Watch List; Moderately threatened in California.
