Pohlia tundrae, commonly known as tundra thread moss, is a moss in the Mielichhoferiaceae that is found in California and elsewhere. It occurs within Alpine boulder and rock field (gravelly, and damp soil), growing at elevations from 2700 to 3000 meters. Pohlia tundrae is ranked 2B.3, Plants Rare, Threatened, or Endangered in California, But More Common Elsewhere; Not very threatened in California.
