Meesia longiseta, commonly known as long seta hump moss, is a moss in the Meesiaceae that is found in California and elsewhere. It occurs within Bogs and fens, Meadows and seeps, and Upper montane coniferous forest, growing at elevations from 1750 to 3045 meters. Meesia longiseta is ranked 2B.3, Plants Rare, Threatened, or Endangered in California, But More Common Elsewhere; Not very threatened in California.
