Stuckenia filiformis ssp. alpina, commonly known as northern slender pondweed, is a perennial rhizomatous herb (aquatic) in the Potamogetonaceae that is found in California and elsewhere. It occurs within Marshes and swamps, growing at elevations from 300 to 2150 meters. Stuckenia filiformis ssp. alpina is ranked 2B.2, Plants Rare, Threatened, or Endangered in California, But More Common Elsewhere; Moderately threatened in California.
