Species Description:

Nolina cismontana, commonly known as chaparral nolina, is a perennial evergreen shrub in the Ruscaceae that is found only in California. It occurs within Chaparral, and Coastal scrub, growing at elevations from 140 to 1275 meters. Nolina cismontana is ranked 1B.2, Plants Rare, Threatened or Endangered in California and Elsewhere; Moderately threatened in California.
