Species Description:

Eryngium pendletonense, commonly known as Pendleton button-celery, is a perennial herb in the Apiaceae that is found only in California. It occurs within Coastal bluff scrub, Valley and foothill grassland, and Vernal pools, growing at elevations from 15 to 110 meters. Eryngium pendletonense is ranked 1B.1, Plants Rare, Threatened or Endangered in California and Elsewhere; Seriously threatened in California.
