Species Description:

Galium clementis, commonly known as Santa Lucia bedstraw, is a perennial herb in the Rubiaceae that is found only in California. It occurs within Lower montane coniferous forest, and Upper montane coniferous forest, growing at elevations from 1130 to 1780 meters. Galium clementis is ranked 1B.3, Plants Rare, Threatened or Endangered in California and Elsewhere; Not very threatened in California.
