Species Description:

Salvia brandegeei, commonly known as Brandegee's sage, is a perennial evergreen shrub in the Lamiaceae that is found in California and elsewhere. It occurs within Chaparral, Closed-cone coniferous forest, and Coastal scrub, growing at elevations from 5 to 200 meters. Salvia brandegeei is ranked 1B.2, Plants Rare, Threatened or Endangered in California and Elsewhere; Moderately threatened in California.
