Species Description:

Ivesia longibracteata, commonly known as Castle Crags ivesia, is a perennial herb in the Rosaceae that is found only in California. It occurs within Lower montane coniferous forest (granitic, and rocky), growing at elevations from 1200 to 1400 meters. Ivesia longibracteata is ranked 1B.3, Plants Rare, Threatened or Endangered in California and Elsewhere; Not very threatened in California.
