Species Description:

Packera macounii, commonly known as Siskiyou Mountains ragwort, is a perennial herb in the Asteraceae that is found in California and elsewhere. It occurs within Chaparral, and Lower montane coniferous forest, growing at elevations from 400 to 915 meters. Packera macounii is ranked 4.3, Plants of Limited Distribution, A Watch List; Not very threatened in California.
