Species Description:

Meconella oregana, commonly known as Oregon meconella, is a annual herb in the Papaveraceae that is found in California and elsewhere. It occurs within Coastal prairie, and Coastal scrub, growing at elevations from 250 to 620 meters. Meconella oregana is ranked 1B.1, Plants Rare, Threatened or Endangered in California and Elsewhere; Seriously threatened in California.

Notes:
Known in CA only from five occurrences. Threatened by alteration of fire regimes. Candidate for state listing in OR, and state-listed as Threatened in WA. Not in The Jepson Manual.
