Species Description:

Abronia alpina, commonly known as Ramshaw Meadows abronia, is a perennial herb in the Nyctaginaceae that is found only in California. It occurs within Meadows and seeps (granitic, and gravelly margins), growing at elevations from 2400 to 2700 meters. Abronia alpina is ranked 1B.1, Plants Rare, Threatened or Endangered in California and Elsewhere; Seriously threatened in California.
