Rediscovered in 1994 by A. Sanders in the San Jacinto Mtns., RIV Co. Threatened by development, grazing, hydrological alterations, recreational activities, road maintenance, and vehicles. State-listed as Hemizonia mohavensis; see this name in TJM (1993).
