Species Description:

Tripterocalyx micranthus, commonly known as small-flowered sand-verbena, is a perennial herb in the Nyctaginaceae that is found in California and elsewhere. It occurs within Desert dunes, and Mojavean desert scrub (sandy), growing at elevations from 550 to 855 meters. Tripterocalyx micranthus is ranked 2B.3, Plants Rare, Threatened, or Endangered in California, But More Common Elsewhere; Not very threatened in California.
