Species Description:
Oenothera cespitosa ssp. crinita, commonly known as caespitose evening-primrose, is a perennial rhizomatous herb in the Onagraceae that is found in California and elsewhere. It occurs within Pinyon and juniper woodland, Sonoran desert scrub, and Subalpine coniferous forest, growing at elevations from 1150 to 3370 meters.
