Potentilla concinna var. proxima, commonly known as early cinquefoil, is a perennial herb in the Rosaceae that is found in California and elsewhere. It occurs within Alpine boulder and rock field, and Meadows and seeps (rocky), growing at elevations from 2995 to 3170 meters. Potentilla concinna var. proxima is ranked 2B.3, Plants Rare, Threatened, or Endangered in California, But More Common Elsewhere; Not very threatened in California.
