Ivesia aperta var. canina, commonly known as Dog Valley ivesia, is a perennial herb in the Rosaceae that is found in California and elsewhere. It occurs within Lower montane coniferous forest (openings), and Meadows and seeps (xeric), growing at elevations from 1600 to 2000 meters.
