Taxon Summary:

Boechera hirshbergiae, commonly known as Hirshberg's rockcress, is a perennial herb in the Brassicaceae that is found only in California. It occurs within Pebble (Pavement) plain, growing at elevations from 1400 to 1415 meters. Boechera hirshbergiae is ranked 1B.2, Plants Rare, Threatened or Endangered in California and Elsewhere; Moderately threatened in California.

Notes:
Known only from near Cuyamaca Lake. Threatened by grazing. Not in The Jepson Manual (1993); a synonym of B. johnstonii in TJM 2; see Harvard Papers in Botany 11(1):61-88 (2006) for relative taxonomic treatment.
