Species Description:

Eriogonum umbellatum var. bahiiforme, commonly known as bay buckwheat, is a perennial herb in the Polygonaceae that is found only in California. It occurs within Cismontane woodland, and Lower montane coniferous forest, growing at elevations from 700 to 2200 meters. Eriogonum umbellatum var. bahiiforme is ranked 4.2, Plants of Limited Distribution, A Watch List; Moderately threatened in California.
