Eriogonum umbellatum var. bahiiforme, commonly known as bay buckwheat, is a perennial herb in the Polygonaceae that is found only in California. It occurs within Cismontane woodland, and Lower montane coniferous forest, growing at elevations from 700 to 2200 meters.
