Species Description:

Eriogonum nudum var. decurrens, commonly known as Ben Lomond buckwheat, is a perennial herb in the Polygonaceae that is found only in California. It occurs within Chaparral, Cismontane woodland, and Lower montane coniferous forest (maritime ponderosa pine sandhills), growing at elevations from 50 to 800 meters. Eriogonum nudum var. decurrens is ranked 1B.1, Plants Rare, Threatened or Endangered in California and Elsewhere; Seriously threatened in California.
