Taxon Summary:

Cylindropuntia wolfii, commonly known as Wolf's cholla, is a perennial stem in the Cactaceae that is found in California and elsewhere. It occurs within Sonoran desert scrub, growing at elevations from 100 to 1200 meters. Cylindropuntia wolfii is ranked 4.3, Plants of Limited Distribution, A Watch List; Not very threatened in California.
