Species Description:

Allium marvinii, commonly known as Yucaipa onion, is a perennial bulbiferous herb in the Alliaceae that is found only in California. It occurs within Chaparral (clay, and openings), growing at elevations from 760 to 1065 meters. Allium marvinii is ranked 1B.2, Plants Rare, Threatened or Endangered in California and Elsewhere; Moderately threatened in California.
