Mitellastra caulescens, commonly known as leafy-stemmed mitrewort, is a perennial rhizomatous herb in the Saxifragaceae that is found in California and elsewhere. It occurs within Broadleafed upland forest, Lower montane coniferous forest, Meadows and seeps, and North Coast coniferous forest, growing at elevations from 5 to 1700 meters. Mitellastra caulescens is ranked 4.2, Plants of Limited Distribution, A Watch List; Moderately threatened in California.|
