Taxon Summary:

Myurella julacea, commonly known as small mousetail moss, is a moss in the Pterigynandraceae that is found in California and elsewhere. It occurs within Alpine boulder and rock field, and Subalpine coniferous forest, growing at elevations from 2700 to 3000 meters. Myurella julacea is ranked 2B.3, Plants Rare, Threatened, or Endangered in California, But More Common Elsewhere; Not very threatened in California.
