Astragalus kentrophyta var. elatus, commonly known as spiny-leaved milk-vetch, is a perennial herb in the Fabaceae that is found in California and elsewhere. It occurs within Subalpine coniferous forest (sometimes carbonate, and rocky), growing at elevations from 3000 to 3490 meters. Astragalus kentrophyta var. elatus is ranked 2B.2, Plants Rare, Threatened, or Endangered in California, But More Common Elsewhere; Moderately threatened in California.
