Species Description:
Monolopia gracilens, commonly known as woodland woollythreads, is a annual herb in the Asteraceae that is found only in California. It occurs within Broadleafed upland forest (openings), Chaparral (openings), Cismontane woodland, North Coast coniferous forest (openings), and Valley and foothill grassland, growing at elevations from 100 to 1200 meters.
