Ceanothus foliosus var. vineatus, commonly known as Vine Hill ceanothus, is a perennial evergreen shrub in the Rhamnaceae that is found only in California. It occurs within Chaparral, growing at elevations from 45 to 305 meters. Ceanothus foliosus var. vineatus is ranked 1B.1, Plants Rare, Threatened or Endangered in California and Elsewhere; Seriously threatened in California.

Notes:
Nearly extirpated in SON Co.; confirmed from only two occurrences. Known from one historical occurrence in MEN Co., but unable to relocate; need quads.
