Notes:

Possibly threatened by horticultural collecting. Previously identified as S. obtusatum ssp. boreale, in part. Similar to S. oregonense; differs in having dense rosettes and waxy granules on calyxes and inflorescence branches vs. looser rosettes and lacking waxy granules in S. oregonense.
