Species Description:

Galium hilendiae ssp. hilendiae, commonly known as Hilend's bedstraw, is a perennial shrub in the Rubiaceae that is found in California and elsewhere. It occurs within Chaparral, Great Basin scrub, Joshua tree "woodland", and Pinyon and juniper woodland, growing at elevations from 1070 to 2745 meters. Galium hilendiae ssp. hilendiae is ranked 4.2, Plants of Limited Distribution, A Watch List; Moderately threatened in California.
