Iris hartwegii ssp. columbiana, commonly known as Tuolumne iris, is a perennial rhizomatous herb in the Iridaceae that is found only in California. It occurs within Cismontane woodland, and Lower montane coniferous forest, growing at elevations from 425 to 1400 meters. Iris hartwegii ssp. columbiana is ranked 1B.2, Plants Rare, Threatened or Endangered in California and Elsewhere; Moderately threatened in California.
