Species Description:
Acanthomintha ilicifolia, commonly known as San Diego thorn-mint, is a annual herb in the Lamiaceae that is found in California and elsewhere. It occurs within Chaparral, Coastal scrub, Valley and foothill grassland, and Vernal pools, growing at elevations from 10 to 960 meters. Acanthomintha ilicifolia is ranked 1B.1, Plants Rare, Threatened or Endangered in California and Elsewhere; Seriously threatened in California.
